Register to be an organ and tissue donor.  Talk to your family, let them know it is important to you that you want to give the gift of life.

Every year in America, thousands of people die while waiting for an organ transplant that never comes.  These people die unnecessarily.  The Transplant Network and the walk volunteer committee firmly believe that their participation in the Donate Life Walk For Awareness is an excellent way to educate the public about the country's dramatic need for organ and tissue donors while honoring donors and donor families.

Educational financial assistance is available for the Fall Semester.  Deadline for application submission is August 10, 2010.  The Transplant Network and the Donate Life Walk of Northern Nevada financial aide assistance is intended to help support the educational needs of individuals personally affected by the transplantation process as demonstrated in the community.  Download this application  Donate Life Scholarship form.pdf.   Email your completed application and essay to glen-n-tracy@charter.net.   Please note, application submission does not guaranty financial assistance.  Applications will be reviewed and additional information may be requested in order to complete the process.  Applicants may be rejected at the discretion of the selection committee.
